Introducing From Anna’s Kitchen

Hello, and welcome to From Anna’s Kitchen!

From Anna’s Kitchen is a resource for food lovers everywhere. My goal is to share with you real food and real experiences from my kitchen. This means that along the way there will be successes and failures, and I’m excited to share those with you.

As some of you may already know, I live in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, about an hour north of Philly. Marketing is my day job and while it’s something I love and have studied for a number of years—8 years of undergraduate and graduate-level business courses included—food is my real passion.

In my off-time, I’m constantly in the kitchen, at a restaurant, by the grill, visiting a brewery—you name it. If it involves food and drink, then I’m there. There’s nothing that I can think of that I don’t like when it comes to food, with the exception of maybe some cuts or types of meat, which I recently started eating again in moderation after being a pescatarian/vegetarian (not vegan) for 14+ years.

On From Anna’s Kitchen, you can look forward to seeing homemade recipes that I promise have never touched the inside of a cardboard box whose name rhymes with “Eddy Brocker” (if you catch my drift…), many of which will be vegetarian-friendly or with options to easily make them vegetarian. I love taking photos and am always striving to improve my skills, so my posts will often be complimented by photos that I take in my kitchen and garden. From time to time, I’ll also post ratings and reviews of various products or services, photos from events and trips, and more.

I’m always happy to answer any questions that you might have, too, whether it is about a recipe that you saw or a technique that you wanted to try, as well as accept feedback and requests for things you’d like to see or how I can improve future posts. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to get in touch; leave a comment on the most recent blog post or contact me directly and I’ll get back to you.

I look forward to opening up my kitchen to you. In the meantime, you can learn more about me or follow @fromannakitchen on Twitter. If there’s anything you want to know, ask away in the comments or send me a message!
